well, i have a new problem. my truck will not hold itself at idle. it started yesterday. the truck will slowly lose rpm's, then, eventually die. in order to make it idle at 750-800 rpm, i had to back the idle screw all the way out until it stopped. i think the idle air controler might be either clogged or shot, but i wanted to get your opinions.

do you get any codes when you trip the ecm.
check for leaks at the throttlebody to the mas
is the distributor lose? running rough?
what have you done to your rig recently?

I found on my 3slow that the rubber o-ring on the idle adjustment screw was boogered up. Put a little rtv on the threads and cured the identical problem.

haha, i forgot i posted this. actually, i figured it out. my intake tube had split at the connector. it was so close to being connected that it would still run, but not that well. sorry for not keepin ya'll informed <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />
