Anybody have a source for the brake pads on All-Pro's transfer case emergency brake? I kinda hate to have to buy a whole new caliper for $89 when just the pads are worn.
I thought for sure I saw them on their site a while back, but no more. Dang, when you see it, buy it, cuz it may not be there tomorrow!

Have you tried emailing or calling them? But of course! They sell the whole caliper only.

Surely they are some other part (as mentioned above) that conveniently fit the application. I bet if you can find any kind of serial # or anything on them, some Google time will reveal all...

TSM is right down the road from me. Huh. Hafta swing by there sometime. It is the very same caliper, wonder where AP got the idea? [edit, ah... reading educates. It was a local source of inspiration I see.] [hmmm, after a phone call... far more than just 'inspiration'. Like, TSM INVENTED the darn thing. oh, the stories we learn... ]

I'm curious, how did you manage to wear out the pads? Seems to me like they should last almost forever unless there's an oil leak....

In theory they shouldn't wear out, but in practice, unless they are adjusted perfectly, they can rub and wear down.
