Hi folks,

From my previous post about my stuck gas gauge needle and fuel tank problems, I went to the dealer today and got no tangible fixes/results to my problem. Their solution was "carry an extra gas tank (the little red ones)" just in case you run out of gas! Wow, that's confidence in their diagnosis, huh?

For those 1999-2000 owners who have had TSB EL010 work done (gas gauge needle and related gas tank parts), have any of you experienced any of the following problems *after* you had the work done?

My gauge got stuck at the top, but I've had no problem with refilling the tank. I just had to go according to mileage to know about how far I could go on a tank.

I only had the gas tank parts replaced on mine. The gauge hasn't got stuck yet and this is about a year later. I now can't pump more than 14-15 gallons of gas when the gauge reads empty. If it's WAY below the E, then I can pump 16, maybe 17. I can put more if I take my time (like 10-15 mins), but in this heat, I just go until it clicks (which is usually 14-15 gals).
