ISO 9141-2--The connector should have metallic contacts in pins 4, 5, 7, 15, and 16. J1850 PWM--The connector should have metallic contacts in pins 2, 4, 5, 10, and 16. If the vehicle is ISO9141 the K-line (7) should be at battery voltage when the bus is idle. I don't know about the other two. Re: cant read codes ???? This is very peculiar I think for Toyota. You can tell by looking at the contacts installed in the OBD connector.
