I was hoping to get some feedback on this early and hopefully soon in case I get it all together and it doesn't work, but has anyone had a NON-ELECTRICAL problem w/ the front wipers? I could have sworn the motor went out, but got it tested and supposedly its good.
Is there a possibility that its weak?
The one sign that I think its something else is when I went to pull on the wiper arms to pull them thru their range of motion they're locked into place. This was AFTER I took the motor out. Anyways I got everything apart and am about to clean the whole assembly and reinstall everything after its good and greased. Anyone seen this before?

I've seen busted gearboxes and arm spindles frowen. Sometimes you get something jamming the underdash arms, like wiring harness or ductwork.

Frozen joint, you got it Eddy! I was playing around w/ it and noticed that the main joint un the passenger side is frozen. Does anyone have one of these in good condition laying around? I also need a rear wiper motor.
Otherwise I guess I'll just wait a few weeks to go visit my fiance, know that junkyard has a couple up there.

They all get stiff over time. I have put 3 in 1 oil on them with good results. They can be taken apart and cleaned up.

A drop of oil at the pivot point once in a while is good prevenitive maintenance.
