Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread ???which high steer??? #869406 02/15/08 07:00 AM Joined: Aug 2007 Posts: 45 arizona T TOY84OTA OP Getting the Wheeling Fever After I get my tax return Im planning on doing a hysteer on my 84 pickup so im thinking of going with allpro or marlin cross-over kit and marlins steering box and stabilizer but im having trouble coosing the frame bracket its between marlin ant trail gear http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/steering.htm http://www.trail-gear.com/images/ifsmount-600.jpg which is a better x-over kit, any problems with ether one. USA 4Crawler Web Wheeler All the HySteer kits will have the tie rod over the springs, that is what High Steer is, placing the tie rod high above the stock location. Not sure anyone is making a low steer crossover kit any more. I've run a number of All Pro kits over the years, they have all worked well. Marlin and Trail Gear are also supposed to be good and I originally ran a Marlin heavy duty tie rod and it worked great.
