Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hey guys my sister just picked up a 1991 Cruiser and it has a few problems-
1. alt died & wondering if u can just replace brushes in these like in the mini trucks?
2. Shocks are shot and needs a decent replacement or maybe a low buck 2in lift? if you know of any.
3.Knuckles are leaking, wheres the best source for new seals or rebuild kit?
Thanks

A friend of mine has real good luck with these folks for his older FJ; that's a big deal living up here.

These guys are a little closer to you, but I'm not sure if they carry parts for the newer LC's or not. Looks like they like the Old Man Emu's for shocks; not bad.

On the alternator, I imagine you can get the brushes for it; simply ask the dealer, or if the first two sites have them. Have the alternator part number handy.

Nice lookin' rig. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
