Need a Spot
Anyone know what diesel engines will fit on a 95 3.0L V6 4Runner SR5 Limited AT. I'm looking for a turbo version with a good power to fuel consumption ratio. I'm willing to convert it to MT. I brought my 4Runner down to Belize C.A. and the the price of diesel is 1/3 lower that gasoline. Someone here recommended the 5L turbo for power, but I've heard from others that they're high fuel consumption engines?

No diesel will bolt right up to your V6 truck. In a 4cy truck you can bolt in a L series diesel.

It's going to be all custom with a V6

For v6 diesel swaps check out this thread http://www.toyotadiesel.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8

Look into the 1KZTE, offered in overseas 4Runner/Hilux Surf from 93-95.
