What do you guys think a 1999 4runner sr5 4x4 V6 with 68,000 miles is worth, WITH a salvage title?
It has been reconstructed by a shop that does that for a living, and all paperwork has been submitted to the DMV.
OH and I saw the pictures, it was a light hit on the front, bumper, hood, grill headlights, radiator, condenser, and the pass. side fender were replaced and painted to match.
Drives like new.
just curious what you guys think, and its in Oregon.

Are they offering a warranty with this work?

they will warranty their work, but there isnt that much that they actually did. I know I listed a few things, but really thats not that much.
most of the 4runners I see around here that have 130,000 miles and are similar to year, and style are getting around 10-11,000. If that helps you out at all. (ones with NO salvage title)

Doesn't help **me**; YOU'RE in OR, all things being relative.
So how much are they asking?
I did a carfax on my '99; it was the rear vehicle in a rearend accident. Drove fine like you say, but 8 months later it was 4 BJ's, both TRE's, and a bearing job. And yes, my mechanic inspected the front end and checked the alignment immediately after I bought it. FWIW anyway.

I kinda was hoping for a blind answer (not knowing the price) but it may be too tough since it varies from place to place.
anyway $12,500 and the interior is near mint condition, tires are near new. Other than knowing it was in an accident, you wouldn't know it.
so what I am asking I guess, is how much impact on the price is the salvage title? If it was not salvage title thats a decent deal I think, compared to the 130,000 mile ones for $11,000.

I think thats high.
If it was issued a salvage title, the damage to the truck was more expensive to fix then the current value of the truck. If it was just a basic fender bender, then they would have fixed it and there would not have been a salvage title issued. It was totaled, and the owner bought it back from the insurance company and then fixed it. Seems like there would be more to the repair then just a hood fenders and radiator. Probably frame damage.
I wouldnt pay $8 or $9k

no frame damage, the bumper was not demolished, but everything was put back to like new for cosmetic purposes. Nothing was damaged severely. Parts don;t have to be smashed beyond recognition to be replaced, but the hood had a crinkle it, so for $125 I'm sure its just cheaper to replace it. same on the fender.
Like I said, I saw the pictures and it wasn't that bad.

Why does it have a salvage title if it was just a fender bender? If it was salvaged that means the repair was more than the cost of the truck. If it was just a fender bender it would have been repaired and there would have been no salvage title issued. You know what I'm saying?

Why does it have a salvage title if it was just a fender bender? Ditto.. A claim of minor repairs and a salvage title don't add up.. If the repairs you are seeing pictures of are not that of a totaled vehicle, was it totaled earlier and MAJOR repairs made prior to the repairs you are looking at? Have you check the VIN on CARFAX?

not in oregon.... just about any accident can put your title in the "salvaged" state.
