So I didnt have a crazy night out drinking, its my engine puking the oil... (sorry for the sarcasm!)

Anyway, it started about 3 days ago. A few small drips of oil. then I used it last night and this morning there was a bigger spot, so I took my daughter to school, and came home and started looking at it, its hard to tell where it is coming from. It is not the oil pan, as it trails up the block, but I can't see where from. Possible head gasket? the engine has near 200k on it, so I wouldnt be surprised.

I don't know what I should do now. Sell as is for cheap, or part it out (not sure there is too much to be made doing that)

I really don;t want to put in a rebuilt motor, then I will have more into it than what it will ever be worth. and I was going to get a different car anyway (better fuel economy)

so any ideas? I have a few pictures.

OH and 1 of the battery covers is missing, not sure if it blew off, or if it rattle loose on the bumpy ass gravel road I go on to get to my wifes parents place.

check your valve cover gasket, left hand side look in the pocket next to the pcv, also check in the cam lobe area front just behind timing belt cover. if thats it thats a $15 fix, start there <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

oil cooler o rings, valvecover gasket, cam seals, about 20 bucks worth of parts and about a half days worth of work. dont forget the degreaser and pressure washer before and after. that looks like it needs it.

well someone else gets to enjoy it now, Just took $1,000 for it. I know I probably could have fixed it and got a little more for it, but its ok, I am out a couple hundred bucks, BUT I also used it for quite a while (for me 6 months is long term) so I don't feel I am really out anything. At least I only paid $900 for it last summer so its not a big deal.

so I still have the tires and lift for sale (the one I was going to put in before the oil leak started up)

Might be interested in the lift, what are you asking and will you ship?
