Need a Spot
hey my boss just recently gave me some 31in tires for my 99 cherokee sport. they dont fit. the guys at the shop told me it would need about a 3in lift. i dont want to go to nuts cause i live in suburban nj and cant really go off roading too much, but i was just wondering if any one would tell me what i would basicly need to get a nice 3in suspention lift on my truck. if you could advise me you would be awsome. thanks.

Body Damage is Cool
You will need a suspension lift, as that vehicle is a uni-body (does not have a frame), so a body lift is outta the question. I believe from what others have said you will need a 3 or 4 inch lift to fit those tires on your ride.

A 3" lift should fit 31"s with no problem.
Check out Rusty's Offroad. They are the most affordable. I have a 6.5" lift, and tie rods from them, and it has been great.

Get a spring pack lift. stay away from add-a-leaf lifts. They wear out quickly, and give the jeep a rough ride.
