Need a Spot

I've located an 83 Toyota 2WD 22R 5spd parts truck and I'm wondering if the ignitor/control module will work on my 81 2WD Auto ? I know the parts numbers are off by one digit.
82/83 Airtex # 6H1297. 81 is # 6H1296. 82/83 ACDelco # E1902A 81 is # E1903A.
Even if the connectors need to be swapped can I use the 83 Module ?
Will any other parts bolt on. like wiper motor, alternator, drivetrain/suspension parts etc ?
Thanks In Advance.

I have an '81 22R and have configured a module for a chevy V8 to work as my IC igniter. It costs $18 for the parts at any parts store. Cheap enough to carry a spare but so far I haven't needed it. Email me for info if you are interested. Super easy. Xrtim@sbcglobal.net
