Getting the Wheeling Fever
I tried the search engine. No luck. Any hints? When it rains I get some wetness on the front carpet. Both passenger and drvers side. Is it the window, floor plugs, fire wall? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks.

Could be any of those things or the door seals. Perhaps you have hole rotted through somewhere.

One thought, though. Are you sure it's water, or could it possibly be coolant? Are you losing coolant? The heater pipes and such are up under your dash and if they're leaking, your floor-boards would be wet. I'm just guessing here, but it's possible, I suppose, that you're only experiencing this during rainy days because you're only turning up the heat during those days.

Just a couple thoughts for you. I hope it's just a firewall seal or something.

feel around the heater core and lay on your back and check for rusted/missing floor plugs. mine was the combination of the two. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

that would be my guess.
the roof gutter empties tight on top of the windshield seal.
might be wet fabric/liner on the A pillar

or down at the bottom corners, and will be visible drops on inside near glass

after cleanin these areas get some black adhesive sealant- not 100% silicone ! - and fill the holes.

remember that just one tiny little hole in the right place can flood the floor board.

for best results, start with the most likely areas and see what happens.

Mine leaked around the door seals. I adjusted the door catch (to one on the body) closer to the inside of the truck and it seems to have fixed it.
