When the headlights are turned on, the light that lights up the vent direction, hot and cold, fan speed was working only when you tapped the face but now it does not light up at all.. I thought something was loose but after taking off the panel, I don't see any bulbs???? Help!

There is a bulb behind the clear plastic. I had the same issue b/c the bulb blew. I got my bulb at napa.

When you take off the panel you will see a piece of clear plastic between the levers. In the center of this plastic light pipe there is one tiny lamp. It comes out from behind somehow... try twisting it?
You will have to take the radio out and reach underneath.

Thanks for the info.. Once I took the clear plate off there was a small bulb behind it that just pulled right out.. Changed the bulb tonight.. $2.65 for a pair of bulbs.. BTW, did not have to touch the radio, a 5 minute repair! Thanks again for the help!

How do you remove the clear plate? I might have swapped this from my old panel when installing the new one but I had it apart again last weekend and didn't see a way to pull it out.

There is a clip on the right end in the middle that holds it in place.. Press the clip to the right and it pops right out.. You might need to pry it a little, my bulb has been in there for 164,00 miles, which is a lot of Coke and coffee to spill from the cupholder but we won't talk about that rediculous design! I gave the whole area a good cleaning while I had everything removed!
