Connecting rod clearance issues 6g74 rebuild #875096 03/13/08 09:54 PM Joined: Apr 2007 Posts: 56 Colorado R reknawj OP Getting the Wheeling Fever Hey all, rebuilding my 6g74 and 5 of my con rod clearances came in at .0014. (distance between the cap and crank journal w/plastigauge) only 1 (Number 4) came in at .0019! Is this anything to worry about? I didn't plan on racing it, I just want to get another 100k miles out of it.
