Need a Spot
I am looking for some new exhaust. I think I'll go with headers and all new cat back system has anyone got any good ideas. And how much power is to be gained and clearance are the main factors.

What you will get is lots of noise that will confuse your senses and make you THINK you have more power. But if there IS more HP it will be at high rpm where the lil Jeep engine fears to tread.
In order to get more exhaust OUT one must first allow more gas INTO the engine. So unless one does an expensive HEAD JOB and intake system and then intends to run at much higher rpm, the fancy exhaust will be of no use to the Jeep. Dual exhausts actually HURT low rpms, as the scavenge effect of the pipes doesn't start working until a certain velocity is achieved.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Gotta agree with Jim on this one. As a long time motorcycle builder/rider/tuner you have to look at this as a system, not just a single component. Can't tell you the number of times people have come to me with the question, " I just installed a new (insert here - exhaust, header, air intake, cam, etc.) and I see no big difference..." So, the following bit of advice.

While you may start with headers and an exhaust system, the reality is that until you also address the intake system limitations, the fuel mixture (as the air volume will change and may involve remapping the ignition system)you will not realize the value of the investment. And, the parts have to be selected to work together, not just a random purchase of parts. Remember what goes in must come out.
