I have marlin crawler 4" springs in the back of my truck and BDS YJ springs in the front. Problem is the rear is about 1" - 1.5" taller. I was thinking about removing a leaf from the rear pack to get everything to settle down a little. what do guys think, is it a bad idea to mess with the marlin springs and if not which one or ones should i remove, thanks for any input
1985 yota 22RJasper motor w/ cam,webber carb.Marlin histeer & 4"springs, AllPro jonny jointshackles. Bds yj springs upfront. Bilstein 5150's all around. 4.88 yukon gears,detroit locker and truetrac. Fj80 Master cylinder, 33" MTR's

it wouldn't be the best idea to remove a leaf from a marlin crawler spring pack because they are electronicly tested and adjusted for spring rate, arch, and length for the optimum performance on and offroad. I would recomend lifting front more (i.e. longer shackles or different springs like marlin's 4" or 5" but just remember NO BLOCKS but who doesn't know that) or reduce lift in rear with shorter shackles. i strongly recomend not removing a leaf from marlin's pack.

Might try posting the question on Marlin's customer support forum to see what advice you can get there.
Not sure how long the springs have been on, but if a short time, they will settle with use as they break in. To speed that up, load up the truck and take it off road a few times.

Yeah i thought about new front springs but, with those new marlin springs for the front do i have to cut and relocate any mounts for the springs like i did w/ the rear set.
