Need a Spot
i've got an 86 toyota 4x4 15" wheels, does anyone know if 79 chevy 4x4 15" aluminum wheels will bolt on to the 86 toyota, I believe the bolt pattern is the same, but i'm not sure about the offset? thanks in advance for any info.

If I remember right, the chevy wheels may be a little tight going over a toyota hub. If they go on they'll bolt up.

I don't think there's a problem with the offset. Someone else may know for 100% sure.

You can measure the offset or backspacing and compare that to your wheels (yours should be 4-3/4"):

Likewise check the ID of the center hub hole to make sure it is big enough to clear your front hubs, usually around 4-1/8" or so.

yeah if it fits over the hub, should fit, the six lug patterns are the same. should clear everything else as well, b/c the some of the stock rims of an IfS yota won't clear the tie rods on the solid axle yotas, i.e you have a better chance of fitting them on an IFS than SAS.

Agree.. my understanding is the bolt pattern is close enough - BS may cause problems.

I'm running 16' wheels from an 07 Tacoma. They barely clear the IFS due to BS issues - in fact, inner mounted wheel weights had to be pulled.
