Body Damage is Cool
I wish our fuel was that cheap. $1.18/L for diesel here. Regular 87 is $1.07/L.

4.29 for diesel.

I'll never understand why it costs more for something less refined.

Sounds like something my brother would say about his (soon-to-be) ex-wife.

Less refined yes, but more expensive to refine now with the Ultra Low Sulpher fuel.
Also basic supply and demand. Diesel is becoming the #1 fuel in the world, everyone else uses it more than the U.S. I also heard our Military is now 'all diesel'. How's that for demand.

That said $4.25 for diesel here.

The rules of supply and demand usually dictate that a product can be sold cheaper when the demand is greater......SO.....WTF!

Actually, when you have great demand for a "limited supply" commodity you increase the price to keep the demand in check. If they kept the price at $2.50 all the stations would sell out quicker then they stock the fuel.

I understand thats the case with a commidity like oranges that are suceptable to shortages due to freezing and such but supposedly they claim there is plenty of oil and they can keep up with demand yet to my knowledge not very many new refineries(if not none) have been built in years. Add record profits into the equation and it just does not add up. Unless......its all BS and we are purposely being squeezed internally by an enemy.
