Previous Thread Next Thread Print Thread Rate Thread 94 xj studdering #877107 03/25/08 01:46 AM Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 131 central florida E el_d_m OP Wheeler ok i picked up a 94 xj, 4.0/HO, 4x4. had an aftermarket oil pressure gauge on it & that caused the stupid check engine light to stay on. fixed that with a stock sending unit. just replaced the water pump ( it was leaking). flushed the radiator. all the vacuum lines are good. when the engine warms up & you are driving normally the engine begins to act like it wants to die. almost like a fuel issue. it idles just fine. fuel filter is good but i am going to replace it tomorrow.o by the way 210,000 miles or so. 93 xj stroked 4.2 w/4.0 head avenger supercharged 6.5" long arm 35" buckshots rubicon 44's front & rear Re: 94 xj studdering [Re: el_d_m] #877108 03/25/08 03:55 AM Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 7,768 Central Texas BigJim Web Wheeler Could be a coil..
