Just a post to say thanks and goodbye. The wealth of information shared on this forum was unbeleivably helpful. I have switched teams and bought a nissan now. After the untimely demise of the old Rustylux I decided to get a rig with a little more room for the kids and wife. My old rig may live to see another day because I gave it to a family member who is gonna repower her with a chev or something simular.

I bought a 1988 Nissan Patrol. Not even sure if you guys have them over there. Has a 4.2 litre 6cyl petrol motor. Runs on propane. 5 speed manual. I've already fitted a 4" Tough Dog suspension lift and 35" tyres.

VERY sweet truck. Hasta luego! You will enjoy it. We don't get anything like that from anybody.

Nice looking rig<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />, Patrols are very rare here in the states. I would say goodbye, but how about see you later, i.e, until you come back to the Toyota fold <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.

The Hilux will always be in your blood, when the Poo-trowel breaks down in the scrub, I bet a Toyota pulls it out. You will smile and think of the old girl.
It's not just a truck, it's a way of life. Happy Trails. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

Gotta love an older 4x4 with coil springs. And look at that beachside scene! You guys down under have got it all. Good luck. -- Matt
