hi,, i just bought 4.88 rear 3rd anda front rear,,,my question is the front rear had the ADD and i am putting it in a 93 toyota truck with lock out hubs,,,can i take the driver side tube with the ADD off and replace it with the tube that is on my rear that is in the truck now,,,the driver side tube that i am talking about has 4 bolts holding it on,,,,thanks in advance

the tube that bolts to the pumpkin on the front rear,,,the tube has the ADD mounted to it,,

Front diff is a better term so u dont confuse people. I suppose u could switch tubes? or u could just disable the ADD on the new diff.

Almost plug and play. Need an oil seal to replace what the ADD had in there in order for that non-ADD part to fit. Toyota part number 90311-35032

Where does the seal go?

I've got he same problem; bought a used front centre section that was in an ADD truck and I have manual hubs. It sounds like the left side tube off the non-ADD section is a bolt-on replacement for the ADD and shorter tube? Are there any other gaskets or parts to replace while it's apart?

This seal is the only one I replaced. The ADD diff had a gear or something in there instead of that seal. That part had to come out. The seal went in where that gear came out of.
