Pretty much any local 4x4 shop will have the Wells guide in stock. You might find gears in stock somewhere if you live in Australia, but here in the states you'll have to order them from a Mitsu dealer or from down under.
Welcome to the not-so-well-populated world of Mitsubishi 4 wheeling parts & accessories.
I'm not real familiar with the Sports but there are many here that are & should be able to post up with what will fit yours. Spend a little time with the search function on this forum & you'll find a lot of info on what options you have for modifying your Sport and where you can get them from. A lot of the available parts are actually stock Mitsu parts from other vehicles or from Monteros with different equipment than yours (5 speed vs AT axle ratios for example). Drivetrain modifications are doable, they're just going to take more effort than if you owned a Jeep. Check out the trailrides & events section for Arizona posts. We've got a tentative trip to Woodpecker Mine & Highway to Hell coming up in a few months. Most of us are going to need that time to prepare our Monteros for those trails. Extra protection & at least a rear locker are barely minimum for H2H, but if you're into hardcore rock crawling plan on coming along. You can find the Woodpecker Mine trail covered in the Wells guide, but H2H is an extreme trail & Wells doesn't cover those.
