Getting the Wheeling Fever

so i should look for 82 up axles to mod. or would it be safe enough to uphrade axles and just run 34tsl and leave it. maybe upgrades like chrome alloy axles,axle truss, and i would love to lock it but people say not too.is it bad or just bad on a set of 36 if i can go 34x10.5 i should be fine to lock..right...i just want to go a littlw bigger. i figured gain .6 on tires and 1.25 on lift
