3-8-08 custers crossing snow run
had a good run.
started off with the alternator clip coming loose on my toyota. That was a fight all day trying to keep it in there and the battery charging.
so I was the first break of the day and the first stuck.

The bad thing about making further then anyone else is that there is no one to pull you out. you can just see my truck by the tree line.

Looks like you had your fair share of fun and shoveling.<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> What pressure were you guys running?

It would have been nice to have some fresh snowfall on our trip, it would have made late afternoon wheeling a little more fun.

Fortunately the only break we had was with the Rover. the previous owner did a real crappy welding job on the panhard bar which broke loose during a night run. We had a premier power welder but it didn't hold, to long of cables to get enough heat for good penetration. The weld broke after the first twisty section the Rover went through, so my buddy just zip-tied the mount to the frame and wheeled a cautiously the rest of the trip.

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.
