i am looking at a set of super swamper ltb 34 x 10.50 r 15. has anyone ran any thing bigger than a 31 tire on there sportage. i think tey might rub on the rear of the front wheel well. but how bad would they rub...34" tire is really 33.5"

dave , didnt you run 32" tires before sas.

i could have sworn there was someone else running 35" tires.

I know that with a 1.4 body lift, upyourkia 2" front spacers (that give about 3" of lift), and TJ rear springs, that 31 10.50's rubbed pretty good until the bottom part & seam of the front fender by the door was smashed back. It didn't hit anything on the front side because the front bumper was removed.
Let us know what you find out.

No matter how much and in what way you lift, anything over about 31.5" REAL diameter (not manufacturers make believe diameters) WILL foul on the firewall body mount on the chassis under any sort of suspension compression. May be OK as a mall cruiser, but you will be ripping lugs off left, right, and center on the trails....May in fact be less than 31.5" depending on the tread/lug profile of the tire.
