Need a Spot
My brother had the dealer do the timing belt on his 2000 Trooper with a 3.5 dohc 24 valve engine. On the bill the dealer claims to have replaced the Cooling bypass or Cooling crossover hose. Where is this hose located as we can not see a new hose anywhere under the hood. The dealer also is trying to charge for several other things my brother did not authorize.
Thank you

Body Damage is Cool
I don't know that specific motor but on many engines there will be a small hose that has one end that attaches at the thermostat housing and runs to a water port on the intake manifold.

The reason it costs that much is you have to remove the entire intake manifold in order to get to it.
