Need a Spot
Hi all, I've read in the sticky and a few other posts that any aftermarket F150 wheel (up to 1996) will fit on the Sportage. But if that was the case, why does Tire Rack carry 17 different wheels for the F150 and none for the Sportage? Are the offsets wrong? Maybe the centers aren't big enough (even though aftermarket wheels have generous bores and openings to accomodate different brands)? What am I missing? Or can I safely assume that those wheels will also fit the Sportgae? The have some really nice stuff...

FYI, F150 sizes on Tire Rack are 15x8" with -19 offset. I plan to run 235/75/15 tires with a 1.5" lift from upyourkia. Will this setup work? Will the wheels/tires rub somewhere and/or stick out from the fenders?

Thanks, this is my first offroad vehicle ever.

Body Damage is Cool
The Kia needs a bigger center hole than the F150. They do not list wheels for the Sportage because the sportage is not popular enough. My wheel are 15x7 American Racing Outlaw II (series 62) wheels I got off a 72 F100. They work great but do put the tires outside the body a little. I can't rember the back spaceing though. My other Wheels are a 15x7 American Racing steel crome (Helix) wheels with a 5" back spacing, they tuck the tires in a little better but they still stick out a bit.

I know that the stock Bronco rims (7.5" wide) didn't fit until the centers were machined out.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
My brother runs a Suzuki Sierra (think you guys call em Sidekicks) running 15X7". Tried em on the Sport and fitted with out problems, but they did stick out passed the guards.
