Fuel regulator, alternator regulator?
Describe the problem a bit more... is it slow to start, but then catches and runs, or does it catch-quit-catch-quit? With a modern fuel-injected engine, I'd be checking fuel pressure and flow through the fuel filter (quick replacement) and looking at spark and timing.

well I replaced the fuel tank sending unit (weeee I have a fuel gage again) and now the thing starts right up.
To describe it a little better I would have to crank on it for 10 - 20 seconds before it would fire.
Good to see you on the boards Randii

Wow, two months to swap a fuel filter. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
The only ideas I have are 1) Intake manifold gasket 2) Fuel pressure regulator (kinda really my #1 on this list) 3) It may be "normal". I know we've had discussions on some 3.2's (heck if I remember which models/years) take a little longer to start because of the emissions stuff. For some reason it takes a few seconds to gather all the correct data from the sensors before launch.
So, is is really taking 10-20 seconds to start? Because that is a really really long time, relatively.
