So I installed a 2" body lift while the truck was inside my garage and noticed after it was all buttoned up and ready to go that the garage seems to have miraculously lowered 2". Enough that I couldn't drive it out! Oh crap! Smooth move, John. After an hour of puttering around doing other stuff with visions of 300lbs. garage door removal dancing in my head, I came to my senses and realized the simple, 5 minute solution.

An imaginary Car Talk coffee mug and t-shirt to the first person that guesses it.

Let some air out of your tires.

Air down the tires and back out the door.

Ask me how I know...

Damn, I got distracted with ribs for dinner and didn't submit the post before the Cap'n...

x3 on the air.

Or put a 2 in lift on your house.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

Definitely a 2in lift on the house is the smartest way to go.

Fasteddy's advice is occasionally sound...

Cut 2" off the bottom of the tires with a sawzall?

I am so sorry, but this is too funny. LMAO. My suggestion is, dig a 2" trench on you garage floor.
OMG, you just made my morning.

Speaking of sazall, you could make a chop top.

Wheeler
put 1 rolling jack under the front of your truck, 1 rolling jack under the back of your truck......jack both ends of the truck up, remove the wheels, lower the jacks so the truck is just about scraping the ground. Push the damn thing out, jack it back up, remount the wheels, then drive away. But beware of your newfound height increase.....and make sure when u get back home you don't try to park in the garage smile
