I finally found the time to install the XRC8 Smittybilt winch on the Tacoma; was a smooth job with no surprises. I used the control box that came with it and the only modification I did was to extend the wires between the control box and the winch motor so I could mount the control box on the bumper.

This should be enough winch for my rig; a few of my buddies have been abusing this winch on the trails for over a year with no problems. Of course this calls for some pic's of the installation. I even accidently got the Jeep in one of pic's so I can still hang out with those guys too........
