i know you guys have told me 4 inches up front is the max on the ifs. but i still want another inch or so up front and 1.5 to 2 out back. i am currently making 1/2" spacers for the front to add to my 3/4" up yor kia spacers and eibach spring. in the rear i gotta 2" spacer with the eibach springs which i am ditching the eibach spring and keeping the spacer and installing tj 105aa springs...

will let you guys know how it comes out...

the most you can space the strut down in front is 1.125" or the bottom of the strut will smack right into the CV joints on the front axle and tear the crap outta the boot. in the rear, you need to be careful that the coils aren't too curved or they will wear out really fast and provide a bad ride on the road. also, you need to watch the relationship between the upper link and your pinion as well as the lower coil buckets and the axle centering (panhard rod length).

Only other way to get more lift is to go with a 3" body lift. The kit is available but it may be difficult to make shifters work correctly. Otherwise, SAS is the answer.

so i shouldn't add more than 3/8" to the already existing lift.
i will have the machine shop shave off .125" of the 1/2" spacer.

I did some experimenting (trial and error) when I started making the spacers and with the Eibachs the 3/4" spacers is the tallest I got to work without the cv axles not rubbing on the strut forks. If you want more lift think about a body lift or a SAS.

i think you're right, i think they rub a little even with my kit when the upper ball joint starts to wear a little from being allowed to over extend slightly.

ok i got the spacers back from the machinist, and then gave em back to him and to him remove some material. instead of .500" spacers they are now .300".
