Need a Spot

My 1996 Trooper overheated, died, and will not start after cooling down. It turns over and tries really hard to get started but it doesn't quite make it. I suspect blown head gasket but what do I know.

Has anyone had good success with a mechanic in Dallas to diagnose/repair this type of problem.
