Getting the Wheeling Fever
Im thinking of buying a 4Runner that has Warn hubs. I would prefer the Toyota originals. Where can I get a set? Or can you only get them from a bone yard?

Thanks in advance.

www.craigslist.com has been pretty good at helping me find used parts (people parting out vehicles in the "auto parts" section). There are a couple of forums on 4x4wire that cover for sale and items wanted. May be able to sell the Warns and buy the Aisins. Boneyard is ALWAYS an option. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

IFS or solid axle? They are different. Bobby Long does make gears that will change IFS to work on SA.

i would need them for IFS. I saw on the link from Missouriman that somebody makes them for solid axles....can they be modified to work with IFS?

No, the hub gears for the IFS and SA hubs are a different spline count.

Well... yeah, they can be modified by replacing the hub gears... Bobby Long may have some IFS innards to go in SA hubs if he hasn't tossed them. But IFS hubs are more plentiful anyway and you should be able to find them.
