Getting the Wheeling Fever
which springs are better for rock crawling. not talking competition but weekend fun. if possible not to expensive.

Leaf springs work fine, relatively inexpensive and easy to install, plus they are very reliable.

If you have to use your rig as a daily driver coils give a much better ride. And if you have to drive over miles of washboard roads to get to your favorite trail head or fishing hole coils are far superior. I have long imagined building a coil sprung first generation 4runner. You probably already know about the coil suspension upgrade kits from Off Road Solutions. -- Matt
