HI I jumped the diagnostic plug today and found codes: 24-25-26-31-51!!!
Why do the check engine never light up when I'm driving the truck.
I unplugged the battery for half hour to be sure to reset every thing. Still the same codes.
Help
the truck run not so bad (at least for 313k)
thanks

Only hard errors will keep the CEL on all the time. Many intermittent codes only flash the light (when the problem happens) and stores the code for later retrieval. But they should clear with the battery disconnected, maybe there is a problem with the ECU's trouble code memory.

sorry. I forgot to tell that I ran the truck a bit after I pull the battery off. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
But I still didn't see any check engine light.
Is't more precise? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
