Getting the Wheeling Fever
Where is a good website to buy stainless steel header bolts for my 1989 Jeep 4.2L intake/exhaust manifold?
The reason I want SS because I am installing a reman 4.2L engine and install the Hesco/Mopar MPI kit. At the same time I am installing Pacesetter Armour header (orig exhaust header cracked)...if broke...upgrade... My header bolts are rusty and I want to dress-up the engine.
The header bolts have a special washer.
Thanks

Are you installing an aftermarket intake also? If not I doubt you would be able to hardly see most of the manifold bolts anyway.
The manifold bolts have a habit of backing out even on the stock setup I like the nice hardened stock bolts better than stainless for lasting under the stress of trying to hold that awkard manifold setup to the head.
Maybe install the stock ones and then after seeing the look with the stock ones you might wish to install one or two stainless to suit your fancy?

Need a Spot
Check out stage8 they have some locking header bolts. Kind of expensive but they stay put. Order them on the phone though. Also go to ARP for anything. Lots, I mean LOTS of never seize when you put in stainless. I have gauled them and what a nightmare to get one out.
