Glad that everything is going good for you. Your rig looks really great. I'm sure HYDRA will like the yellow equipment.

On the gearing, is it transfer case gears or ring and pinion? Give it up Also, what did you do to get more lift out of the front end so you could get the bigger tires under it without rubbing and keeping the IFS.

Anyway, sounds like things are doing good.

Keep up the pics and the information.

Everet- 1 inch spacer on top of the flipped over strut top
bottom ball joint flip......bolting the ball joint on to the top of the bottom arm......requires the bottom arm to have some surgery
body lift......1.25inch lift....
droping the front diff.....you need to drop it at least 40mm ......
guard cut.......remove at least 50mm around the whole guard and fit flares.......i cheated and used 75mm garden edgeing
diff gears .......custom made crownwheel and pinion ......5.12:1 gearing.....dont get much change out of 3grand au$ for them.......ouch.....

so there you have it ....how to fit tyres bigger than 31inch......

cheers Ads

What did you do to drop the front diff 40 mm? Can you post a close up pic?

Can you post a pic of how you flipped the bottom ball joint showing the surgery?

This was probably done because you dropped the front diff right?

4.78 gears to 5.12, really isn/t that much. Probably should have gone with 5.72 or maybe even 6+. Oh well, hind sight is always 20/20.
