That trim around the wheel wells is coming off on the driver's side, probably because that is the side that gets the direct sun when parked in the driveway. Can you glue the sections that are coming off back, should I peel the whole thing off and start new, and is there something that takes the adhesive tape off if I do? I know that 3M double sided trim tape works good but what if it is just a few spots coming loose? Was the trim factory, or aftermarket. I bought the truck used. Thanks.

My experience with reattaching that type of thing in situ hasn't been great. It always ends up looking patched. Be neat with the glue, and it should come out okay, though. If you remove the whole thing the Goo Gone citrus spray and a credit card will take the adhesive off pretty easily without ruining the paint.

Take a good look at yours, mine is screwed on, from the factory. Replacement pieces are available (for mine at least) from the dealerships.

Mine is aftermarket. Did dig through some receipts and found the original bill. I will see if the guy warrantees it for life. Thanks for all the hints.
