Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm sure people have their own favorites when it comes to shocks. I want something adjustable--I'm somewhat new to this and am looking for options based on user experience/testing. Right now I have some sort of ProComps and they ride very harsh. Thanks.

Would be nice to have a hint as to what you will install new shocks on... AND how and where you intend to drive the whatever it is..

Oops...'98 Cherokee with 3.5 lift by Rubicon Express ; to be driven on mild to moderate trails--more rock than tree roots--20%....and dirt road driving with long sections of washboard--30%. Also highway driving--50%like up and over Vail pass....I drive like a granny no matter where I'm going.
Thanks.

Try a set of Rancho 7000 adjustable shocks. If you're lazy, you can get from them a little air compressor and a set of gauges for the cockpit, and you can adjust them from the driver's seat!

Fixed it for ya Bob.

And Rancho also makes an in cab control system for those shocks for only $150 through Quadratec....could be a little cheaper else where.

Better yet has anyone tried out the Rocky-Road Hydro 8000? They make some bold claims about being the "only one's" who set up their shocks for jeeps and not for a broad range of weights like some others. The Rancho's only seem to be adjustable from HARD to EXTREMELY HARD and then the knob brakes off.
