Well...Took it apart and #4 have big holes in the pistons (this explains why there was no compression in earlier tests).
Now it's down to taking the motor out and redoing the bottom end.
The guy came by and offered $500 for the body without the motor, said he had planes for putting in a 1990 Toy V6 in it.

The only way you are going to get any real money for it is to fix the engine(rebuild/replace) for about $500. If you don't want to do the work and simply want it gone, $500-1000 is about all you can really expect to get for it.

Well...We got the motor out and took the oil pan off. It was definitally aparent that #2 Rod was bent, not broken, but REALLY bent.
If I could get $1000 for the truck I'm thinking that I will have to sell it for that. I'm thinking that It is going to cost ~$1000 to get it up and running again.
If I do get it running, then sell it for ~$2500. I get an extra $500 for my time. Is it worth it at that point or just cut my losses at this point and put my money into a different car?...Um...is there a Turbo in the near future??
Thanks for the replys...

It shouldn't cost you anywhere near $1k, unless you plan to use the same block and rebuild build it the way it was prior to its death.
What condition are the cyls and head in? If the crankshaft is still good, you can get a complete rebuild kit from EB for under $350, and that included the gaskets.
You might also look for a donor rig, like this one $1200 in Dillon. Offer him $800, swap engine/transmission into your rig, part the rest and you should be under $500 for your rebuild.
If you aren't in hurry to get it fixed, you can usually find a good deal. Just keep an eye on Craigslist or Pirate/Marlin BBS's for trucks being parted out.
