Granted you'll need to be an olymian to drive it further than around the block but hey, no gas required...

http://gizmodo.com/394530/trailcart-worlds-first-pedal+powered-4wd-off+road-vehicle

2 things I've noticed in the past week as pump gas get closer to $6 a gallon.

1.) More horses than dual sports in the National Forest on Memorial Day.
2.) More bicycles than cars waiting for the Harbor Island drawbridge to close at 7 in the morning.

Guess I could add just about every cop I've seen in Seattle lately is either on a horse, mountain bike or motorcyle.
Even the park rangers are driving little 20 HP John Deer utility rigs instead of thier full sized Ford Broncos.

I want one of those.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.

There's no word on how much exertion is required to get that thing really moving, but if it takes any kind of physical strain at all, chances are it'll never make it to America

<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> No doubt!

I'd still like to play around with one <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

There have been 4 wheel/wheel chair hybrids for people racing downhill in the past. Downhill is the ONLY thing that cart would be good for. With those wide tires, and weighing in at 50kg, it would be a serious workout just cruising flat, smooth terrain.

Would be WAAAAYYY more fun with a 250cc 2-stroke engine on it. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Yeah, I agree. It would be mega hard work. I've ridden a very lightweight human powered vehicle (windcheetah) and that was hard enough

WOW what an expensive toy. I pricved one and it came up to $8,335,95 + shipping <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

Still I'll get wet, it doesn't have a radio, no AC, too slow for hwy speed WTH even back road speed and I can't take my family with me.

In the other hand it will be fun to see that 4WD Trailcat airborn <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" />

<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> I will keep my Montero. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
