Getting the Wheeling Fever
Can you guys tell me honestly how long and how technicaly difficult it is to replace all the seals and gaskets in the front end of an 85 runner. Also any special tools needed. Thanks.....B

Your other factors are
#1- your rust factor. PB Blaster from NAPA is your friend; so is antiseize compound for reassembly
#2- If you opt to get your rotors turned while you have it torn down; turn time at the machine shop is a factor.

I give it a full afternoon, take my time, clean stuff up as I go.

Not very technical, just very DIRTY. Have LOTS AND LOTS of paper towels for cleanup. Don't throw ANY parts away until you have it all back together.


Replace the inner axle seals with marlin's HD seal.
