Getting the Wheeling Fever
ok, i got the new resistor for the motor, and installed it. but i noticed the blower motor itself wont spin freely, i posted this b 4 and now its gone. i cant remember if it should spin freely or not. ive been driving my other car so i havent been in a hurry to do this until now.. price for the new resistor was cheep. $40.00, the dealer said they would sell me the motor for another $100.00 is this a good deal?

The motor should spin freely yes. You may be able to oil the bushings on each end of the shaft to free them up.

Not for me... Check this out, you can get one for less than $50.00 before shipping BLOWER MOTOR
The dealership is usually the last place I buy.
Just my 2 cents...

if the blower motor does not spin freely it will put a load on the resistor and possibly fry it also. buy a motor of ebay for $50 or the one Everet posted.
