Need a Spot
i have a 89 4x4 v6 toyota pickup,i cant find where a hose goes,its the hose from the charcol canister "purge" line. where does it go,ive looked all around but i cant see where it goes..thanks for youre time
purge line not plugged and connected to engine vacuum.where is the engine vacuum i cant find it

On the 22RE at least, that line runs to the P port (P=Purge) port on the throttle body. I think at some point, Toyota added a Vacuum Switching Valve to operate the cannister vacuum. A Factory Service Manual should have that information.

Looking at an FSM page for the V6 engine, it shows a purge port on the throttle body. On my '85/22RE, that port is labelled with a "P".

yea i saw that,but somewhere between the purg port and the canister,is where it broke off,im looking and feeling all around,but cant see where it broke at,theres not that much room,,i know its driveing me nuts,but thanks again,,ill get it sooner or later...
