got a freebee today.. 88 xj, 4.0 ( running so rich it wont run), dana 30 front ( stock), dana 44 rear ( stock). figure i am pulling the dana 30 out & replacing it with a dana 30 from a 98 xj ( better shafts & u-joints ), gonna locker up both axles & disc up the rear. i only need or want to lift her 3 inches. i have heard that f150 coils from the early 80's are a good lift option & the measurements look good & i have seen them on other xj's. what about the rear leafs? does anyone know of a cheap way other than blocks & shackles to lift the rear? i was wondering mostly about leaf packs out of other trucks like maybe explorers? if not then i will just buy prearched. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
