ok so i am no stranger to 2nd gen trucks. Question here is i sold a pretty nice 87 extracab sr5. Grey on grey. Great little truck. So i thought, the tranny went out, but was replaced. Now the engine overheated and the owner thinks the headgasket is toast. i told him i would buy it back, he said for 1100 i could buy it back. I sold it to him for 2600. I am pretty sure that i could find a nice little 22re and throw it in there and be fine. what do you guys think? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />

buy it back

Roll Me Over
It is kind of a no brainer, you know the truck, it has a new/new used transmission, may have a HG issue may not, shouldn't cost much to fix, less than $500 to replace w/used engine or rebuild(providing you do the work yourself.

More than tread lightly. Leave it like you were never there, nor anyone else.
