22RE into a '94 truck? What eccentric? The fuel pump is in the tank, both, both! There should be a blockoff plate on the head.

have any of you removed this? I am about to install a 22re in to my dad's 94 pickup. If there is an eccentric on the dizzy drive, leave it. You need it to act as a spacer. No harm leaving it, take it off and no spacer, possible broken cam locating pin=BAD <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/scared.gif" alt="" /> Danny

there is a fuel pump eccentric on the cam shaft its self. I believe all 22r/re motors have them.
