Quadratec.com has mounts for about $30.
You can also try 4WD.com, or JC Whitney. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
What motor did it originally come with?
Gun it and run it! 1981 CJ5,258,T-176,D300,AMC 20,Dana 30,Trxus M/T 31x10.50, Rancho 5000's, GroundPounderFab front bumper, polyethylene gas tank, aluminum dash, AutoMeter gauges

PIM.. Yeah as long as the tires lose traction... but the VERY first time he gets in a place where the tires DON'T lost traction..BAM! There goes the neighborhood! Them parts can't take 400HP. When the tires are spinning the 400HP isn't getting to the surface! Only when the spinning stops will you and he know where the weakest part of the drive train is. Taking all points of view into consideration, he can always try the swap, and as parts break, either upgrade the broken features or just replace the failed component completely. He just has to understand that he is probably minimum 1.5x the HP and Torque with the 360 than he had with the 6 cyl. Now the other consideration he has in his favor is in Æ77 you could get a V8 in the CJ7, but since he asked about motor mounts I have to assume he has one with a 6 cyl. And like anytime one goes wheeling, he should always make sure he goes with other rigs that are all about equally capable of pulling each other out.
