Okay, I'm going to eat a lot of crow but being new to trucks and 4x4ing, I just don't know. Where exactly is the Transfer Case? I just don't know what it looks like. And changing the diff oil in the rear looks easy enough but the front diff seems much more difficult, less access. Does anyone have any tips, tricks or suggestions? Thanks.

The transfer case is located directly behind the transmission....it's what your driveshafts connect to (long round tubes going from t-case to the front / rear axles).
The front differential is harder to drain the oil, my recommendation is to take the skidplate off and get a good allen wrench to fit the plug. I broke my 3/8" ratchet on mine, but the plug came out <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
Good luck.

You might hook up with a local club of friends that are into 4x4s. They can show what's going on under there. I had to use an allen type socket to remove the front plug. Remember to loosen the fill plug first. You don't want to drain the diff if you can refill it. Good luck.
